PTB builds special tool for Hunter Douglas factory

PTB Machinefabriek built a centering unit for Hunter Douglas in Leek. Hunter Douglas is well-known for producing facade- and window coverings. PTB has been a supplier of Hunter Douglas for decades. This cooperation has once more delivered an amazing project; building a centering unit. 

This centering unit makes sure that material is being centered right from the roll of raw materials. After this point, the material is fed under a roller with blades, that determines the width of the strips. The strips that come out are the basic material for the luxaflex window blinds that Hunter Douglas produces. After this, the material continues its way through the factory to be rounded and colored.
